Here are the steps to log a ticket for Microsoft Office 365 Support:

Method 1 - Log a ticket from the Client App on your system:

  1. To Log a support ticket from inside a client app, all you need to do is open any of the applications, which are Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or OneNote.
  2. After this, click on “Help > Contact Support
  3. Now you have to enter your problem in detail and then click on the “Get Help” button.
  4. Now a list of suggestions will appear where Microsoft will try to match your description of the problem with suitable help articles.
  5. If any of the descriptions don’t match, then click on “Talk to an agent
  6. This opens up a new panel where you can choose “Live Chat” option to talk to a Microsoft support agent.

Method 2 - Log a Ticket Through the Web App of your Browser:

  8. OneNote has the File > Help > Help option, but when you click it, there is also no direct way for Office 365 contact. You need to click around Microsoft help until you find a path to support, though it could be a tad bit inconvenient.


Method 3 - Raise Ticket from your Office 365 Account:


To raise a ticket for Office 365 contact from account:


  1. Log in to your Office 365 account click the app launcher (the nine dots in the top left corner) and then click “Office
  2. In the next window, you would click on the “?” mark in the top right of the menu bar and then click on “Contact support
  3. From the account page that opens, you have to click on the “Microsoft Support” link
  4. Now you have to click on “Contact support” to open Microsoft’s Virtual Support Agent window
  5. This window attempts to help and if it can’t, put you in contact with a live person for Office 365 contact.
